Microsoft Japan gives kinect customers tape measure

kinect ruler
We all know that the average Japanese house is on the small side, so Microsoft Japan has come up with a great idea on how to educate their potential customers on whether or not they can play Kinect in their tiny rabbit hutches.
On my way home from work I popped into my local video games store and to my surprise they have a pretty big Kinect display. The first thing I actually noticed was a free Microsoft tape measure for potential customers to go home and measure whether or not they have enough space to Kinect in their home. At first glance the measure is only 90cm's (2.3 feet) in length which is way too short for kinect to work. If the customer flips over the measuring tape they'll see that they have to use 2 lengths of the measuring tape to get their measurements.

Kinect is launched in Japan on the 20th of November 2010.
